Statement from Glen Murray MPP Toronto Centre

As MPP for Toronto Centre, I am proud to say that Ontario is the home to the largest diaspora of Tamils beyond the borders of their homeland. Many Canadian Tamils worked hard to establish themselves and moved to other parts of Ontario. The Ncct has been instrumental in ensuring a better quality of life for Tamil people. I have watched the benefits to Canada of a growing dynamic Canadian Tamil community and know so much of what we are proud of today has come from the generosity and diversity of our people.
