NCCT Reiterates Its Call for the Continued Rejection of CTC Until It Is Held Accountable for Its Continuing Acts of Betrayal Against the Tamil People
The National Council of Canadian Tamils urges the continued rejection and boycott of the Canadian Tamil Congress for betraying Eelam Tamil aspirations. The NCCT criticizes the CTC for its involvement in the Himalaya Declaration and meeting with Mahinda Rajapaksa. Key concerns include inadequate accountability following cosmetic personnel changes, controversial associations such as hosting Rauff Hakeem who opposed international war crimes investigations, and identity erasure regarding actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. The NCCT demands full accountability and a transformation before any boycott ends.
